In The End
by john soprych
In The End,
you Believe in
some dam god or another.
Either you embrace
the gods of your
Mothers,
or you adopt one,
off the rack,
Either Classically Whole,
or Eclectically Ala Cart.
And if you chose the latter approach,
more often than not,
The Spirit becomes dessicated,
not only from
the tedious terms,
but also by the arid
logic required.
A 'Peace' that conforms to
your current irregularities.
To what you are Now.
And, although it seems to,
not only fit,
but also flatter,
by providing this...
...”unconditional love”:
It no longer informs :(
For this god was created
out of the
Deification
of your own
Reflection
And so your Spiritual Journey
Was cut short
-- by Definition.
For it was not conceived out of
some troublesome Virtue,
but was frozen
by the desire
for
comfort and fashion...
...in the Vanity
of the
“Now”
